it basically just seems like you can’t reply to what they’re saying in any kind of intelligent way and are grasping at straws, just like when a person stoops to correcting grammar and spelling (although that has all kinds of ableist connotations so it’s worse)

them being anonymous in NO WAY makes their argument less valid, correct or worthy of retort

in fact i find somebody who uses the ‘i don’t answer to anons’ reply even less worthy of decent debate than somebody who is anon.
